dataset description

The FDFB dataset is emotional response database that include user's biosignal and local facial expression. The users were emotionally triggered by watching 32 video clips with two-min length. these 32 video clips were selected from 40 video clips by online survey.

The number of subjected in the database is 20. we attached a glasses-typed wearable device on subject to measure emotional responses on face. the acquired facial responses include photoplethysmogram(PPG) on earlobe, electrodermal activity(EDA) on nose-mastoid, and local facial expression captured by built-in camera. We also measured emotional responses on reference location, the reference signal include photoplethysmogram(PPG) on fingers, electrodermal activity(EDA) on fingers, and electroencephalography(EEG).

dataset content

- 40 emotional video clip(only 32 video clips were used for the stimulus)

- 8 neutral video clip

- Arousal, valence ratings acquired by the online survey for selecting 32 emotional video clips

Emotional responses of 20 subjects:

- Emotional responses acquired from the glasses-typed wearable device

    - Local facial expression(MAT file)

    - PPG signal from earlobe(CSV file)

    - EDA signal from nose and mastoid(CSV file)

- Emotional responses acquired from the reference location

    - biosignal on reference location(BDF file)

        - PPG signal from fingers

        - EDA signal from fingers

        - EEG signal

- Arousal, valence self-report ratings after watching emotional video clip.
